2022-23 Student Stats:
60 total students19 2nd yr students - 9 NTHS candidates
41 1st Yr students (6 12th graders - leaving 35 possible returning students)
20 Students with IEP/504 (%33)
AM/PM sessions are 27 & 33 students (33:1 student teacher ratio).
Since We Last Spoke:
- Skills Nationals - we took 14th place (middle of field).
- Coding scores were likely top 1-5th however.
- Multiple WBL projects in play including:
- Job Board System (parsing NYS DOL data)
- Front Kiosk System
- Culinary POS/Kitchen Management System
- SRO/ADMIN campus incident reporting System
- Classroom Help/Management System
- Rotating Webmaster Internship (2 week rotation for all 2nd yr)
- Other 2nd YR projects include robotics, 2D game development, individual Web Products for business.
2yr students are also tasked with monitoring help system and providing 1st yr tech support.
Totals are recorded for each MP and grades are given.

English Integration Continues and is represented by daily journaling, code writing & content creation along with specific bi-marking-period in class assignments.
We've moved to a 3 server dev environment. Development done solely on VPN only access system. A production server is connected via a Git Server for pushing approved work "live" outside VPN access. Also, computer fleet is now 60-40% PC/Mac respectively.

Technical Assessment = Precision Web Development 2 - (HTML/CSS/Javascript)
Last year (1st yr taking the exam) we had 60% pass rate with 2nd yr students.
Scored well on HTML/CSS.. Jscript was lower. Have modified 2nd yr projects to include Javascript integration and online course work.

Erich- Like online but would like to come in person when schedules allow.
Tim - Online and in person is equally as good.
Brandon - Online only due to distance.
Q1 - Has the Micron plant effected the local industry & discussion of industry trends/changes.
Most expected little to no impact with Micron. Some expect benefits from the inclusion of the workforce and the increased opportunities for small business. Some expect some labor loss due to limited talent being hired away.
